We had a good Service this Sunday. Tim continued to preach on the series “The Christian Atheist” about Luke Warm Christianity. Afterwards we had Wors Roll Sunday and had a great time of fellowship.
Monday evening we finished our 5 week Marriage Course “From This Day Forward”. We ended by eating a Potjie together. This course has been a phenomenal course and we have already seen the fruit of it in peoples lives.
Cato Ridge
We have had a busy weekend at Cato. We had our Christmas Dinner on Friday Night which was a heap of fun. We had over 100 adults and about 40 children. A lovely family evening with the Children’s Church doing a song for us, some fun skits – and “Who is Your Leader”.
Delicious food and puddings were provided by all – an absolute feast.
On Sunday Jody led the Praise and Worship and Gerard Rudolph finished off our Necessary Endings Series. After the meeting we baptised 5 people. Olivia, very newly saved said she was so excited about being baptised she couldn’t sleep on the Saturday night, and after we had prayed for her she asked if we would please pray for her to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

City Centre
Lunda preached in isiZulu at Umbilo from Mt 5.9 ‘Blessed be the peace-makers’.
Thereafter he preached in English on the same topic at City Centre Durban, emphasizing that only in Jesus Christ can we find true peace.

Frontier church
Saturday was a big day. We volunteered to provide childrens entertainment and carols at the Annual Crestholme neighbourhood watch fundraiser. This was a wonderful way to introduce ourselves to the community, we had a great time and this initiative really helped us to get to know the people God has called us to reach. We heard some heartbreaking stories, we made people laugh and the children had fun as we got into character. Funky Mikey Munkle, Shimmy Shake Sean, Elzetty Speggetty and Paula Pollywiggle along with our Ompalompas set out to be a blessing and we have had such positive feed back. We give thanks to God. We were reminded of the scripture in 1 Corinthians 19-24 where it says we should find common ground with people so that we may see some come to Christ. It was a blessing to come alongside others in humility.
Sunday we had a baby dedication service. This was such a beautiful morning out in the garden sharing more testimonies of healing, answered prayers and sharing stories from Saturdays adventure. The morning led into much ministry and there was a word of God wanting to heal people as they worshipped. Our visitors were visably touched as the Holy Spirit ministered to them in such a personal way. Mike shared an introductory message on the character of God. The messages tie so beautifully together all the things that the Holy spirit wants to do in our gatherings. Word with Spirit brings such joy, life and freedom. We are so thankful.
